Dear PROVE participants,

My name is Laura Rocchio, I will be assisting in the MODLAND validation 
coordination process.  

This message concerns accommodations in Las Cruces during the Grassland PROVE
effort at the Jornada Experimental Range at the end of May.

After calling a few hotels in the area, it seems that the Comfort Inn Suites 
will be the best place.  There are both suites and regular rooms available 
between May 20 and May 30.  The government rates for the rooms are $46 for the 
suites and $43 for the regular rooms.  To make reservations call (505)522-1300.

The hotel offers a continental breakfast from 6 - 9 am each morning as well as
an exersice room and indoor pool.

Also, this is where the USDA researchers will be staying.

If you plan to arrive prior to the 20th, be sure to check rates and
availability, as the university graduation is on the 17th.

All of the hotels are near the University in downtown Las Cruces.
The Jornada Experimental Range is approximately 25 miles away.
