MODIS Land Validation will leverage off of existing science networks by coordinating with the networks to share data and knowledge.  Validation site selection has been arranged to maximize the use of data provided by these networks.

MODLAND Validation activities are coordinated with the CEOS: Working Group on Cal/Val subgroup for Land Product Validation(LPV). MODIS Land validation efforts continue to contribute to this subgroup. Link to: LPV web site
